Firdaus Maniar

Firdaus Maniar is currently the Director of Compliance at CIBC, where they provide oversight and support for the Payments Cards business, focusing on business and product strategy, client engagement, regulatory risk management, and reporting. With over 18 years of experience in corporate strategy, public policy, and risk management, Firdaus has held several key positions, including Senior Compliance Officer and Senior Controls Analyst at CIBC. They also served as Manager of Risk and Corporate Strategy at Henshoa Ltd in the UK and led Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Corporate Finance Services at Crowe Horwath International in Dubai. Firdaus holds a MSc in Entrepreneurship from the University of Nottingham and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, along with an ICA International Diploma in Compliance.
