Henry Leung

Henry Leung is a recent Ph.D. graduate in Astronomy and Astrophysics and a current doctoral fellow at the Data Sciences Institute at the University of Toronto. Specializing in deep learning methods, including Transformers architecture and denoising diffusion probabilistic models, Henry builds multi-modal foundation models for scientific applications. Their research has been presented at prominent conferences such as NeurIPS and ICML and involves extensive analysis of large astronomical datasets. Henry also possesses experience as a teaching assistant and is currently a Senior AI Scientist at CIBC.
