Michael Thomson

Michael Thomson serves as the Head of Business Management (COO) for Capital Markets in the U.S. region at CIBC since November 2015. Alongside this role, Michael is a Co-Founder of OM NYC, a luxury fashion accessories company established in October 2014. Prior to these positions, Michael held multiple leadership roles at NatWest Markets Plc from June 2005 to October 2014, including President of Price-Smart Valuations, where a fee-based securities pricing service generated millions annually, and Global COO and Managing Director, contributing to a revenue generation exceeding $2 billion through strategic planning for various trading operations. Michael holds an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and a BS in Finance from the University of Tampa.
