Nick DeVilder

Nick DeVilder currently serves as Managing Director & Market Lead for the Sponsor Coverage Group at CIBC, a position held since July 2023, focusing on sponsor relationship management for private equity-backed leveraged buyouts and leveraged lending opportunities across CIBC's US operations. Prior to this role, Nick was the Managing Director at CIBC US from June 2017 to June 2023, overseeing the St. Louis National Commercial Banking Group and financing businesses with revenues between $20 million and $250 million. Nick's earlier experience includes serving as Vice President at LaSalle Bank, where responsibilities included managing a commercial loan portfolio and mentoring junior staff, followed by a tenure as Managing Director at The PrivateBank, where the focus was on providing senior credit facilities to middle market businesses and leading commercial teams. Nick holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Economics and Finance from the University of Tennessee at Martin, earned between 1997 and 2001.
