Omid Esfandiari

Omid Esfandiari, CISSP, is a seasoned professional in information security with extensive experience in various leadership and technical roles. Currently, Omid serves as a Senior Information Security Consultant at CIBC since September 2025. Prior to this, Omid held positions such as IT Security Lead at Medcan and Enterprise Security Architect at Shaw Communications. With a background that includes significant roles at Bell, RISKVIEW, TPM Communications, and Sadad Informatic Corporation, Omid has developed a strong expertise in managing security incidents, developing compliance reporting, and enhancing security policies. Educationally, Omid holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Tehran, completed in 1999.
