Rahim Jiwani

Rahim Jiwani, CPA, CA, is an experienced professional in operational risk management and internal audit, currently serving as Vice President of Global Operational Risk Management at CIBC since June 2014. Previously, Jiwani held multiple titles within CIBC’s Internal Audit department, progressing from Senior Director to Vice President. Jiwani also served as President of the Board of Directors for Halton Standard Condominium Corporation No. 665 from June 2017 to December 2020 and as an instructor for Financial Planning & Investments at the Toronto District School Board from September 2013 to December 2019. Earlier career experience includes roles as Manager of Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk Management at AGF Management Limited, and Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Jiwani holds a Chartered Professional Accountant designation from CPA Canada and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Finance from the University of Toronto.
