Ritu Kumar

Ritu Kumar is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic client engagement, particularly within the newcomer and international student segments. Currently serving as Senior Director of Newcomer Client Strategy at CIBC since July 2022, Ritu Kumar oversees the go-to-market strategy and growth initiatives for this demographic. Prior experience includes tenure at SBI Canada Bank beginning in October 2016, where Ritu Kumar held the position of Vice President & Head of Retail Banking, focusing on the development of retail and digital strategies, as well as overseeing significant initiatives such as online platforms for account opening and student GIC applications. Ritu Kumar has also served as Vice President of Business Development, managing new product development and strategic planning. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Delhi University and an MBA specializing in Marketing and Finance from Kurukshetra University.
