Rob Bechard, MSc, CFA, is a seasoned senior executive in global asset management, currently serving as Executive Director of Exchange Traded Funds at CIBC. Prior to this role, Rob was the Managing Director and Head of Portfolio Management at BMO Asset Management from 2009 to 2024, leading a team in the development of a suite of innovative and award-winning Exchange Traded Funds. Rob also gained valuable experience as a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at Barclays Global Investors from 2002 to 2009. Rob holds a BSc in Mathematics from Queen's University and an MSc in Mathematical Trading & Finance from Cass Business School.
