Ryan Birks is the Director of Global Regulatory Affairs at CIBC, a position held since 2018. Previously, Ryan served as a Strategic Advisor and Executive Assistant in the Office of the Budget at the Ministry of Finance from 2016 to 2018, and as a Senior Policy Advisor at the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Employment and Infrastructure from 2014 to 2016. Before these roles, Ryan was a Content and Program Advisor for the International Economic Forum of the Americas from 2010 to 2014. Ryan earned a Master's degree in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2009.
