Silene Gomez

Silene Gomez, MBA, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in fraud analytics and data management. As the Director of Account Open Fraud Analytics at CIBC since February 2023, Silene leads a team in monitoring application data and mitigating fraud risks, while also representing the team in cross-functional initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Manager of Operations and Data Analytics at Donor Compass™, where Silene transformed data into actionable insights and developed analytics tools, along with a successful background in program management and client services. Silene holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management, complemented by a Data Science certificate from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering.
