Simon Philp

Simon Philp is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in commercial banking. Currently serving as Market Vice President at CIBC since August 2013, Simon leads commercial banking teams across Vancouver Island, the BC Interior, and the Yukon territory. Prior to this role, Simon was the Director and Team Leader at CIBC, and held positions at HSBC Bank USA, N.A. as VP of Seattle Corporate Banking, and HSBC Bank Canada as Senior Manager of Commercial Banking. Simon's career began at Great Pacific Management as an Associate, where foundational skills in client service and financial analysis were developed. Educational qualifications include designations as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), with ongoing studies at The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants for ACMA (UK).
