Steve Jia, CMT, FCSI, CIM, Ph.D., is a Portfolio Manager at CIBC, bringing extensive experience in the investment management industry across global markets, including Canada, the US, EAFE, and emerging markets. Previously, Jia served as a Senior Market Strategist at Morgan Stanley and a Senior Market Risk Analyst at BMO Nesbitt Burns. With a strong skill set in portfolio management, trading systems, and risk management, Jia designed quant/mechanical trading systems that achieved an impressive 87.13% annual return over five years with a growth fund.
