Tom Duncan

Tom Duncan is the Managing Director and Head of Insurance for Europe and Asia at CIBC, a role they began in 2025. With twenty years of experience in the banking industry, they have successfully managed complex relationships with insurers, asset managers, and fintech firms globally. Prior to CIBC, Tom held significant positions at HSBC as Head of Insurance Coverage for Asia Pacific and at Northern Trust as a Relationship Manager. Tom earned a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of Leeds, completing their studies in 1999.
