Veronica Somwar is currently the Director of Global Transaction Banking at CIBC, bringing extensive experience in payment processing and compliance within financial operations. Previously, they served as a Senior Credit Administrator, overseeing payment traffic management and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. Veronica began their career at CIBC as a Foreign Exchange Confirmation Officer and has continually developed expertise in in-house systems and Canadian Payments Association rules. They are currently pursuing further education at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology.
