James Han

James Han is a quantitative agricultural scientist at CIBO. James has experience working as a fieldNET advisor solutions specialist and data scientist at Lindsay Corporation and Monsanto Company. Han has experience developing and maintaining crop models, conducting research and development field trials, and leading summer data science interns. Han earned their degree in agricultural sciences from the University of Illinois.

James Han has a Ph.D. in Agronomy Technology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a Master of Science in Agronomy from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a Master of Science in Grassland Science from South China Agricultural University. James also has a Bachelor's degree in Plant Protection and Integrated Pest Management from South China University of Tropical Agriculture. James Han is certified by DataCamp in Importing Data in Python (Part 1), Python Data Science Toolbox (Part 1), Intermediate Python for Data Science, Intro to Python for Data Science, and Intro to SQL for Data Science. James is also certified by BitTiger as a Big Data Engineer.

James Han reports to Bruno Basso, Co-Founder & Chief Scientist. They are on a team with Margaret Kosmala - Principal Data Scientist, Kofi Dzotsi - Principal Crop Scientist, and Ernesto Brau - Lead Computer Vision Scientist.
