Jasmine Ng

Environmental Data Scientist

Jasmine Ng has a diverse background in education and environmental sciences, evidenced by her experience as an English and Mathematics Tutor from April 2020 to April 2021, where Jasmine provided academic support to students aged 7 to 19, including exam preparation for IGCSE and IELTS. Jasmine has completed internships with Cinotech, where Jasmine assisted in biodiversity surveys and improved laboratory data records, and the Helmholtz Institute Freiberg for Resource Technology, where Jasmine participated in research related to the EU Horizon-funded SEMACRET project. Additional experience includes working as an Environmental Consultant at Six Degrees, where Jasmine developed assessments for African environmental startups, and an internship at Green Sense focused on community environmental initiatives. Jasmine holds an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Po Leung Kuk Choi Kai Yau School, a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geoscience from The University of Edinburgh, and is pursuing an MPhil in Data Intensive Science at the University of Cambridge, achieving a distinction. Currently, Jasmine is employed as an Environmental Data Scientist at CIBSE.
