Chuck Tweedy

Chuck Tweedy is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in automation, software development, and engineering management. Currently serving as the Director of Automation at Cibus since August 2022, Chuck focuses on streamlining the introduction of crop protection traits through automation. As the Founder and President of Midnight Lutherie LLC, established in January 2011, Chuck transforms a passion for guitar building into a successful business. Previous roles include Group Manager of SW and EE at Novo Engineering, Senior Manager at Life Technologies, and Associate Director at Verenium Corp, where Chuck contributed to various technical projects and led engineering teams in significant innovations. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Systems Science and a Bachelor's degree in Controls Engineering from UC San Diego.
