Kevin Lefever

Kevin Lefever is a skilled research scientist with extensive experience in molecular biology and biochemistry. At Cibus Global, Ltd. since July 2015, Kevin has specialized in techniques such as Gibson cloning, mRNA extraction, qPCR analysis, PCR, and sequencing for yeast strain production. Prior to this role, Kevin served as a lab manager at the University of California, San Diego, where contributions included establishing a lab, managing biobank inventory, and developing automated sample processing methods. Kevin holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from UC San Diego, earned between 2007 and 2013.
