Ted Cui

Ted Cui is a highly experienced technology leader with a track record of significant contributions in the field of software engineering and artificial intelligence. Currently, as Co-founder and CTO of Cicada-Speech since May 2021, Ted Cui focuses on developing speech-based conversational AI agents for call centers. Prior to this, Ted Cui served as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Facebook, overseeing the engineering efforts for the Symphony recommendation platform. Ted Cui's earlier roles include Senior Engineering Manager at Apple, where leadership was provided to Siri Search teams, and VP of Engineering at Topsy, where the largest real-time Twitter search engine for analytics was created. Ted Cui's extensive career also encompasses positions at Vobile, Cisco Systems, IronPort Systems, Digital Impact, SYNNEX, and Hangzhou Micon Computer Co., highlighting skills in database administration, search systems, and software development. Ted Cui holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Zhejiang University.
