Alan Lai is an Executive Director of Risk Management at CICC, a position held since 2015. Previously, Alan worked as an Equity Market Risk Analyst at Merrill Lynch from 2012 to 2013 and as an Associate in Prime Finance at HSBC from 2013 to 2015. Earlier in their career, Alan served as a Senior Market Risk Analyst at J.P. Morgan from 2008 to 2012, where responsibility included maintaining a central risk reporting system. Alan is currently pursuing an MRes in Biomedical Physical Chemistry at Imperial College and holds a First Class Honours BSc in Chemistry from the University of Liverpool, along with an MBA from HKUST.
