Eric Zhang

Eric Zhang is a Managing Director at CICC, leading Greater China Property Research since September 2009, where Eric serves as the chief analyst in the property and property services industry, covering over 50 stocks in Hong Kong and mainland China. Zhang developed the CICC Housing Price/Rent Index, recognized as the only comparable index in China that investors utilize. Prior to this, Zhang was a Research Fellow at the Hang Lung Center for Real Estate at Tsinghua University from July 2005 to August 2009, overseeing over 20 research projects on various real estate topics and earning the “Best Research Project Award” from the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (MOHURD). Zhang holds a PhD in Real Estate Economics and Finance from Tsinghua University, attended UCLA Anderson School of Management as a Visiting Scholar in Real Estate Finance, and earned a Bachelor of Management Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University.
