Rui Ding, CFA, currently serves as the Head of Japan Research at CICC since June 2021. Prior to this role, Rui held positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from April 2016 to May 2021, contributing to both FX Research, which was recognized as the No. 1 ranked team in the 2019 Institutional Investor’s Japan FX research survey, and Macro Research. Rui's earlier experience includes a brief tenure as a Global Research Summer Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in August 2015 and an internship in the Global Research Division at UBS Investment Bank from September 2014 to March 2015. Rui Ding holds a Master's degree in Economic Policy from The University of Tokyo, an exchange degree in Management and Finance from HEC Paris, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Waseda University.
