James Porter, MS CFA, is a seasoned professional in wealth and asset management. They served as the National Managing Director and Senior Vice President at National Bank Financial from 2005 to 2011, followed by a role as Executive Vice President at HSBC from 1996 to 2005. Currently, James is the Head of Canadian & Institutional Business at Cidel Asset Management Inc., where they contribute to protecting and growing the wealth of high net worth individuals, families, and institutions. James holds a Master’s degree in Management from Boston University and is pursuing a BA in Business Administration at Bishop's University, among other qualifications in governance and financial services management.
