Waseem Amer

Waseem Amer has had a long and varied career in the engineering field. Waseem began their career in 1996 as a Research Assistant at the Pakistan National University of Sciences and Technology. Waseem then worked as a Research Associate at the same university from 2006 to 2011. In 2011, they became the CEO and Managing Director of Your Engineering Solutions (Pvt). In 2014, they co-founded and became the CEO of Cielo WiGle Inc., a company that offers Smart thermostats for Ductless Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps. Waseem's role at Cielo includes working directly with home Wi-Fi routers to ensure there are no hidden costs, no extra hubs and no dependencies.

Waseem Amer obtained a BSc Engg in Electronics Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore between 1990 and 1994. Waseem then went on to pursue a MSc in Systems Engineering at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 2001 to 2002. Afterward, they completed a PhD in Systems Engineering at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 2002 to 2006.
