Ajay Goel

Ajay Goel is a Senior Director in R&D Optical Networks at CIENA, where they have been responsible for developing and managing software solutions across the CIENA Converged Packet Optical product line since 2022. Prior to this role, Ajay spent nearly a decade as a Group Leader at Network Programs, focusing on software solutions for the Telecom and Networking domain. They began their career as a Software Engineer at DCM Data Systems. Ajay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Delhi University and a Master’s degree in Computer Applications from Barkatullah Vishwavidyalaya.
