Amit Malik

Amit Malik is an experienced executive currently serving as President for India and South Asia at Ciena since May 2023. Prior to this role, Amit Malik held various senior positions at Cisco from October 2004 to May 2023, including Managing Director for the Service Provider Segment in Asia Pacific, Japan, and Greater China, as well as roles focusing on the Public Sector and Sales in India and SAARC. Earlier in the career, Amit Malik worked at Siemens from 1991 to 2004. Amit Malik holds a BE in Electronics and Telecommunication from Manipal Institute of Technology and a degree in International Management from the International Management Institute, completed between 1994 and 1997.
