Ammar Ahmad is an Embedded Software Engineer currently optimizing testing protocols for the production of optical transmission systems at Ciena. With an intermediate proficiency in C++ and Python, Ammar has developed fixes for Nokia network routers and contributed to testing protocols for Ericson RF systems. Previously, Ammar founded a ceramics company and served as a Software Test Developer at Ericsson, where they enhanced automated test tools. Ammar holds an Engineer’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Carleton University.
