Armando Ferra

Armando Ferra is an experienced sales professional with a comprehensive background in telecommunications and business management. Currently serving as a Regional Sales Manager at Ciena since October 2020, Armando previously held multiple leadership roles at Nortel, including Sales Director and Senior Sales Manager, focusing on sales strategies for Telmex both domestically and internationally. Armando began career engagements in the telecommunications sector with Alcatel-Lucent as part of the Marketing and Business Development team before transitioning to academia as a professor of Electronic & Communication at Universidad Tecnologica de Mexico. Armando holds a Diploma in Business Management from Tecnológico de Monterrey and an engineering degree in Communications and Electronics from Instituto Politécnico Nacional.
