Chandan Mohapatra

Chandan Mohapatra is an experienced technical sales leader currently serving as Director of Routing & Switching Solution Sales at Ciena, focusing on identifying and pursuing new markets in Canada since January 2022. Prior to Ciena, Chandan held various roles at Nokia from May 2007 to December 2021, including Director of Consulting Engineering, where responsibilities included transforming pre-sales practices and driving long-term growth for Datacenter fabric and Nuage Networks. Chandan's earlier roles encompassed senior consulting engineering and sales engineering, emphasizing customer alignment and technical solutions in IP/MPLS networks and SD-WAN opportunities. Chandan holds a Master's Degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications and a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, both from Carleton University.
