Chris Brown

Chris Brown is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in systems and network design. Since March 2010, Chris has worked as a Senior Systems and Network Design Engineer at Ciena. Prior to this role, Chris functioned as a System Architect at Nortel from May 1994 to March 2010. Chris began a career in technology as a DSP microcode designer during a co-op position at the Communications Research Centre in 1993, where microcode was developed for a modem interfacing with secure telephone systems. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, completed in 1994.
