Daniel Gillespie

Daniel Gillespie is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in quality assurance, product management, and machine learning. Currently serving as a Senior Manager for Machine Learning and AI at Ciena, Gillespie is pioneering AI applications to enhance product reliability and is developing an advanced memory leak analysis system. Previous roles include significant leadership positions at Epiphan Video, Rockport Networks, Huawei, Celestica, and Nortel, where Gillespie successfully built and managed teams, engaged with key industry stakeholders, and drove product development initiatives across various technology domains. Gillespie holds a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Science Studies with a focus on Computer Science and Psychology from Carleton University.
