Daniel Labes

Daniel Labes has extensive experience in the optical transport and system verification engineering fields, currently serving as a Consultant Sales Engineering at Ciena since July 2013, where responsibilities include system-level testing of next-generation Packet Optical network solutions. Prior to Ciena, Daniel worked at BTI Systems from March 2011 to June 2013 as a System Verification Engineer, focusing on developing test cases for DWDM solutions and contributing to successful product releases through rigorous testing and automation. Daniel began a career at Eximprod Grup Romania from January 2008 to January 2010, specializing in power systems integration and testing. Daniel holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest.
