David Boymel

David Boymel has over two decades of experience in the telecommunications and networking industries, with a career spanning several executive roles in prominent companies. Currently serving in Portfolio Management at Ciena since 2007, David previously held positions as Vice President of Product Management at PhyFlex Networks before its acquisition by Ciena, and as a Biz Dev professional at C-COR. Other notable roles include President at VPI, Vice President/GM at Nortel Networks, Sr. Vice President at ECI Telecom, General Manager at Acterna, and Vice President & General Manager at Ascom Timeplex. David holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from New York University School of Engineering and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
