David Kim

David Kim is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as Senior Director at Ciena since January 2010, David leads a team of 27 in the Director Software Tools and Release Engineering Ciena GPG, specializing in release engineering and custom tooling development. Additionally, David holds director positions at Glebe Osteopathy and Wellness and Glebe Psychotherapy since November 2020 and November 2011, respectively. David also transitioned to Ciena from Nortel in March 2010, where a previous role included Director of Ciena Global Products Group. David's career began at Nortel Networks from May 1999 to April 2009, culminating in various directorships, including a role in Nortel (China)/Beijing from 2007 to 2008. David holds a degree from the University of Ottawa, studied from 1991 to 1994.
