David Pierce

David Pierce has extensive experience in sales and product management within the telecommunications and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Sales Director at Ciena since January 2010, David previously held the same title at Nortel Networks from June 1998 to December 2009. Prior to these roles, David worked as a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Bosch Telecom and a Senior Product Manager at Texas Instruments, both specializing in broadband wireless technology. David's career began as a Plant Engineer at Babcock & Wilcox. David holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University.
