Edward Leung has extensive experience in software engineering and management, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineering Manager specializing in platform software and hardware diagnostics at Ciena since February 2012. Prior roles include Principal Engineer at World Wide Packets/Ciena, Staff Software Engineer at Nortel Networks, and Sr. Software Engineer at Tasman Networks, among others. Edward's early career involved significant contributions at Lucent Technologies and Ascend Communications. In addition to a strong software background, Edward has hands-on experience in hardware design and prototyping, gained while working as an Engineering Consultant at MMI. Edward holds a Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Simon Fraser University.
