Erik McLaughlin

Erik McLaughlin has extensive experience in product management and network planning, currently serving as Senior Director of Product Management at Ciena since June 2016, where leadership is provided to a high-performing team focused on SDN applications. Previously, Erik held multiple roles at DragonWave, including Director of Product Management and Senior Product Manager, from March 2007 to June 2016, and contributed as a Solutions Planner at Nortel from July 2004 to March 2007, as well as in a university internship role at Nortel Networks from 2000 to 2001. Erik holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick and completed additional education at McGill University in 2020.
