Heather McIntosh

Heather McIntosh is an experienced hardware designer with a robust background in optical systems and hardware management. Currently serving as a Senior Hardware Designer at Ciena since June 2022, Heather previously held positions at RANOVUS Inc. as an Optical Systems Designer, and at iControl Networks and Blacksumac in hardware management and design roles. Heather's career began at Nortel as a hardware designer, and extensive experience includes work as an Assembly and Integration Engineer at the National Research Council. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Dalhousie University, earned between 1993 and 1997.
