Inder Walia

Inder Walia has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, primarily with Ciena, where responsibilities have included driving submarine solutions in the Asia Pacific region and leading solution engineering teams. Inder has held various roles at Ciena since 2008, progressing from Senior Systems Engineer to Solutions Engineering Leader for Submarine Networks, focusing on solution design, implementation, and lifecycle management. Prior to Ciena, Inder worked with Nortel and Worldcom, gaining expertise in network integration, field services, and customer engagement. Inder holds a Master of Business Administration from Macquarie Business School and an Advanced Diploma in Telecommunications from Optus Technical Training Center.
