James Strober

James Strober is an experienced engineering professional specializing in ASIC verification, currently serving as the ASIC Verification Lead at Ciena since November 2013. With a robust background in hardware and verification engineering, James previously held positions as Staff Verification Engineer at IDT and Hardware Engineer at Cisco Systems. Prior experience includes roles as Senior ASIC Verification Engineer at PMC Sierra and System Verification Engineer at Extreme Packet Devices, as well as Hardware Engineer at Nortel Networks. James earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering with a Management Science Option from the University of Waterloo between 1987 and 1992.
