Jim C.

Jim C. is the Senior Director leading the Product and Application Security Strategy in the office of the CISO. They direct teams to establish standards and evaluate security practices. Previously, Jim served as the Chief Security Architect at Ciena, where they focused on integrating next-generation security capabilities in telecommunications. With extensive experience in various information security roles at the U.S. Department of Defense and multiple educational institutions, Jim also holds a Master of Science in Information Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Johns Hopkins University. Currently enrolled in a Chief Information Security Officer Certificate Program at Carnegie Mellon University, Jim is committed to advancing their expertise in information assurance.
