Joseph Parucha

Joseph Parucha is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in optical test engineering and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Manager in NPI Optical Test Engineering at Ciena since September 2023, Joseph previously held leadership roles at Syntronic, including Software Engineering Manager and Test Automation Team Lead, where responsibilities encompassed recruiting, performance assessments, and test automation in Agile environments. Joseph's earlier career includes pivotal roles at Lumentum and JDSU as a Design Verification Test Engineer, focused on testing optical telecom products and developing test plans, as well as experience in manufacturing test engineering. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Engineering Physics from McMaster University, obtained in 1999.
