Karen Murphy

Karen Murphy has extensive experience in data management and compliance, primarily through roles at Ciena and Nortel spanning over two decades. At Ciena since March 2010, Karen has been instrumental in data migration projects, leveraging expertise as a subject matter expert from Nortel. Prior to Ciena, Karen held several key positions at Nortel from 1998 to 2010, including Global Compliance Process Development and Data RoHS prime, focusing on adherence to international environmental regulations and developing global audit processes. Earlier experience includes ASIC program management, where qualifications and documentation for development teams were managed. Karen's educational background consists of a RTV degree from Canadore College and completion of secondary education at Almaguin Highlands.
