Karim Hammami currently serves as the Head of Legal at Ciena since June 2022, having previously held the position of Senior Corporate Counsel at the same company. Prior experience includes serving as Legal Counsel for the Middle East at HP from June 2018 to May 2022 and a tenure as a Lawyer at a law firm from July 2005 to June 2018. Additionally, Karim contributed to academia as a University Lecturer in Business Law at South Mediterranean University from February 2017 to January 2018. Educational qualifications include an LL.M from Université de Carthage, an Orientation in USA Law from the University of California, Davis, a Fulbright visiting scholarship in Law from Chicago-Kent College of Law, and completion of the International Bar Stage at EFB in 2012.
