Kent Newell is an experienced professional with a robust background in operations and project management within the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as Senior Director, Customer Operations Leader at Ciena since September 2021, Kent has previously held significant roles such as VP Operations at Essentia, Inc., and Tillman Infrastructure, where responsibilities included overseeing real estate, site acquisition, and business development for major mobile operators. Kent's tenure at FDH Velocitel as SVP Program Management and at MYCOM as VP Operations involved comprehensive P&L accountability and managing large-scale service delivery, contributing to substantial revenue growth. Kent's experience also includes over 18 years at Ericsson Inc in various managerial positions, managing projects and operations linked to major clients like Verizon Wireless and AT&T.
