Kerry Yackoboski

Kerry Yackoboski is a Principal Software Engineer specializing in Packet Networking at Ciena since March 2016, with extensive experience in software design and development. Prior roles include Senior Designer and Team Lead at Avaya, overseeing the licensing and SIP terminals for the IP Office product, as well as leading the Embedded Voice Mail and Data Migration tools projects. Earlier experience at Nortel from June 1993 to December 2009 involved senior design engineering responsibilities in software licensing, device drivers, and product introduction. Kerry began the professional journey as a Member of Scientific Staff at Bell Northern Research. Educational qualifications include a B.Sc (EE) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Manitoba.
