Kyle Arnott

Kyle Arnott is a Software Engineer with experience at Ciena since January 2024, focusing on the development of control-plane features for SAOS and Vyatta NOS. Prior to Ciena, Kyle worked at Abaco Systems from June 2020 to January 2024, where responsibilities included managing the IPMI codebase for networking products, developing a read-only filesystem for OpenWare NOS, implementing IPFIX features, and mentoring interns. Kyle’s earlier experience includes a role at Keysight Technologies, where a master's thesis project on a Hardware-in-the-Loop Test Bed for C-V2X System was developed, and as an Automation Engineer at GSK, supporting pharmaceutical plant commissioning. Kyle holds a Master of Engineering degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University of Glasgow.
