Luis Nunes

Luis Nunes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business planning, analytics, and operations within the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as Senior Director for Global Business Planning and Analytics at Ciena since August 2015, Luis has held multiple leadership roles including Senior Director of Global Webscale Sales Operations and Finance Director for Global Webscale FP&A and Latin America Sales Operations. Prior to Ciena, Luis worked at Alcatel-Lucent for over 16 years in various finance and operations roles, and also held positions at Nortel Networks and Powersoft Sistemas, where responsibilities included engineering and software development. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getulio Vargas and a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering from Instituto Nacional de Telecomunicações.
