Matthew Vesperman

Matthew Vesperman has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as Vice President for Ciena in the Asia Pacific region. In this role, Matthew is responsible for the strategy and operations for Ciena's business in Australia and New Zealand. Prior to this position, Matthew held various leadership roles including Senior Account Director at Ericsson, Vice President of Sales at Openwave Mobility, and General Manager at Nortel. Matthew began their career as an engineer at Telstra and Alcatel-Lucent, and has a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecoms from the University of Technology Sydney.
