Michael Devegas

Michael Devegas, OSCP, currently serves as the Lead for Security Testing & Assessment at Ciena since October 2022. Prior experience includes positions as a Senior Associate - Red Team at Fannie Mae, Offensive Operations Team Lead at CYDERES, and Senior Penetration Tester at Fishtech Group. Michael has also contributed as a Threat Intelligence Analyst at Fidelis Cybersecurity and held various roles at Optiv Inc, including Penetration Testing Consultant and Senior Cyber Intelligence Analyst. Michael's career began in the United States Air Force, where responsibilities included Network Analyst and Russian Linguist, focusing on computer network exploitation operations and foreign language analysis. Michael holds an Associate of Arts in Intelligence Studies and Technology from the Community College of the Air Force and an Associate of Arts in Russian Language and Literature from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center.
